Gaza Once Again Facing Severe Conflict this Ramadan

Gaza is once again facing severe conflict, with millions at risk. Just halfway through Ramadan, hundreds have already been killed in escalating violence, and UMR is deeply concerned that the situation will only worsen..

We have already distributed Ramadan food baskets, and in light of the most recent violence, we are also providing hot meals and fresh water, focusing on reaching vulnerable children.

UMR is working with local partners to deliver life-saving aid. We are supplying vital pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to 12 primary healthcare centers (PHCs) and medical points across the Middle and South Governorates of Gaza.

Our Gaza relief initiative also aims to:

Provide essential medications—including antibiotics, painkillers, chronic disease treatments, vaccines, and mental health medications
Bolster healthcare capacity by delivering critical medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
Distribute food aid to families facing severe hunger
