Yemen’s malnutrition crisis impacts millions, including 2.7 million pregnant and lactating women and 5 million children under five.
UMR is addressing this by delivering therapeutic foods and essential supplements, offering prenatal and postnatal care at five health facilities, and distributing fortified food through partnerships like Direct Aid.
To ensure lasting impact, we strengthen local health systems by providing medical supplies, training healthcare workers, and improving infrastructure. Through these efforts, UMR is meeting urgent nutritional needs while building long-term resilience for Yemen’s most vulnerable populations.
