BANGLADESH
As part of its longstanding WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program and commitment to ending the water crisis, UMR has been building wells and restoring water systems in Bangladesh for years, benefiting tens of thousands of people.
In the Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, UMR recently installed 15 new tube wells and repaired water systems damaged by monsoons to ensure clean water access for flood-affected communities. Additionally, water purification units were distributed to households in need, providing immediate relief and safeguarding families from waterborne illnesses.
These efforts are part of UMR's broader mission to create sustainable, long-term solutions that improve access to safe water for vulnerable populations in Bangladesh.
