Back to School Program

As summer comes to a close, thousands of children across Yemen, Jordan, and Lebanon are preparing to return to school—without the supplies they need. These are not just students. They are orphans, refugees, internally displaced children, and children with autism who have lost nearly everything to conflict, displacement, and poverty.

UMR’s Back-to-School Campaign is designed to give these vulnerable children a chance to return to the classroom with confidence, dignity, and the tools to succeed. For children with autism in Yemen, we provide specialized kits developed in collaboration with local autism centers, including sensory-friendly supplies and communication aids to support their unique learning needs.

No child should be left behind because they can’t afford a notebook—or because the classroom isn’t built for them.
